Quartz, sometimes called clear quartz or rock crystal or quartz crystal, is a Master Healer, and as such, can be used for any condition. Quartz has the property to receive, store, amplify and transmit energies. It has an organising and harmonising effect on all parts of the body. When Quartz is attuned to the person requiring healing, it can act at a very deep vibrational level indeed, bringing the body, the subtle bodies and the aura back into balance. Quartz is excellent for general healing as it helps to speed up the whole healing process. It fortifies the nerves, balances the two halves of the brain and stimulates glandular activity. Its physical properties are those of quartz.

Fire Polished Crystal AB (Aurora Borealis) glass

Lead can be as much as 50% of the weight of the glass. The presence of the lead increases the index of refraction - a high refractive index, means it bends the light more. By cutting the glass in just the right way, internal reflection from inside the shiny surfaces of the glass cause the light to reflect internally. This internal reflection results in sparkle as the glass is tilted, adding to its beauty. The extra weight of the glass (caused by the lead) also creates a good 'Feel'. In 1956 Swarovski presented the jewellery stone Aurora Borealis, (know as AB) which shimmers in every imaginable colour. A special steam treatment creates this effect to produce these spectacular crystal beads. I wanted to make up some 'rainbow' necklaces for use with the chakras but was unable to find the full range of right coloured stones to do this. I have always been fascinated with lead crystal and after making up a necklace realised that here was my rainbow necklace. These glass beads contain fabulous rainbow colours, to activate and balance the chakras, help with pain control and to give you a 'lift' and a sparkle.
